Komal Kumar makes a return to the big screen with the movie "Yala Kunni" where he plays dual roles and the tagline 'Mera Naam Vajramuni'. Directed by newcomer Pradeep N R, the film is set to release on October 25. Komal expressed his dedication to the movie, which revolves around a village's issues and sarcasm, centered around a temple. His character, Sathya Harishchandra, is known for deceiving villagers for personal gain, aiming to challenge the norm of playing only positive roles. He drew inspiration for his father character, K D Nagappa, based on legendary actor Vajramuni, incorporating comedy as well. Utilizing AI technology to recreate Vajramuni's voice, the portrayal was well-received by the late actor's family members. Despite lacking formal training, Komal relied on instinct to embody K D Nagappa's character through personal observations of Vajramuni.
